Donations to the Abbot Baldwin Dworschak, O.S.B., Cemetery Fund will be used to assist in the extraordinary projects of the Abbey Cemetery, enhancing its beauty through the planting of trees and shrubs, landscaping work, and the placement of religious art.

Abbot Baldwin served as the sixth Abbot of Saint John’s from 1951 until his retirement in 1971. For the next 20 years, his care for the souls of Saint John’s continued as he tended the Abbey Cemetery as a retired volunteer.  Abbot Baldwin led the monastic community in designing and building the Abbey Church. He had a personal passion for religious art and contemporary religious architecture.  The cemetery fund was started in his honor and continues to provide revenue for additional landscaping and architecture.
