Joleen (Lauer) Krueger

Mass of Christian Burial was at 9:30 a.m., Saturday, November 16, 2013 at St. John's Abbey/University Church for Joleen Krueger, age 38 who died peacefully at Abbott Northwestern Hospital surrounded by her family after her courageous battle with colon cancer. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Parish Cemetery.
Joleen was born in Albany to Chuck and Jan (Frank) Lauer. She married Dean Krueger on April 24, 2004 in St. John's Abbey Church, Collegeville. Joleen was very active in the Colon Cancer Coalition and Get Your Rear in Gear Organization to promote Colon Cancer Awareness. She enjoyed family gatherings at the "Lauer Lodge", St. John's Football, Minnesota Twins, and was an avid runner. She loved being with "her boys" Dean and Logan.
Survivors include her husband, Dean; son, Logan; parents; sisters, Christy (Jim) Sexton, Katie (Cory) Eggert; grandmother, Marcella Frank and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Vern Frank, and Robert and Margaret Lauer.
